Support for Microsoft Vista

We now officially support JeppView, JeppView for MFD, FliteStar, and NavSuite on Windows Vista Operating System SP1. This update is seamless for current subscribers. Please continue to update based on your revision cycle as normal and the update will install the most current version automatically. For users re-installing any application on Microsoft Vista Operating System please contact Jeppesen to obtain a new program CD. Support for Win 98/SE, Win ME, and SP1

Jeppesen support for Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition (SE), Windows Millennium Edition (ME), and Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) will end on August 31, 2006. There will be no future product releases or patches targeted to include these operating systems although there may be workarounds offered to avoid known issues.

Jeppesen is ending support for these products because they are no longer supported by Microsoft:

We recommend that customers who are using Windows 98 or Windows ME upgrade to a newer, more secure operating system. Customers using Windows XP SP1 should upgrade to Windows XP SP2 which can be downloaded for free from the Microsoft website.
