Overview
In an industry where time is money and safety is essential, it’s worthwhile to streamline whenever possible. To that end, Jeppesen has replaced its C-MAP chart catalog with a more efficient online version that’s tailored to your needs. With our new NauticalCatalog, you can order ENCs on the Internet at your convenience.
NauticalCatalog gives you a graphical view of chart coverage within a given product or database—including ENC, Jeppesen PRIMAR ECDIS Service and Professional+. You can plot routes from your ECDIS/ECS, since NauticalCatalog supports 18 different formats. In addition, you can auto-select charts for any route and calculate the aggregated cost.
Ordering is easy. You can order chart licenses from your nominated chart distributor or directly from Jeppesen. You can view and edit your orders, save your order history, and filter and sort charts in the catalog by type, name or license type.
But the Jeppesen NauticalCatalog is more than just a portal for ordering charts. It includes a suite of tools that smoothly interact with most ECDIS/ECS installations, whether licensed charts need to be displayed onboard or shore-side. You’ll get the full overview of available charts, with an “ordering wizard” to guide you to the right charts for your voyage or route. You can create and review orders for approval or licensing for another user. To make it easier to manage your business, you’ll get reports of orders and costs incurred.
