Overview
Jeppesen Aircraft Total Training offers the need-to-know information about a specific aircraft model, the Diamond DA-40, in a simple, easy to understand format arranged by phase of flight in a print and interactive online component.
Features
This version is for the Diamond DA-40 aircraft.For years, flight training courses and supplemental materials have helped aspiring pilots learn to fly. Although this traditional approach provided a strong foundation, it only presented general principles that students must then apply to a particular aircraft. Unfortunately, this left a gap when transitioning the foundational knowledge to the training aircraft on the flight line. Jeppesen Aircraft Total Training solves this problem by offering the need-to-know information about a specific aircraft model in a simple, easy to understand format arranged by phase of flight. For example, if you are flying the Diamond DA-40 aircraft, the Jeppesen DA-40 Total Training provides guidance to operate that particular plane.
Tells you what you need to know, when you need to know it. When we created this training, we talked to pilots, flight instructors and students to find out what information was critical and what was nice to know. We simplified and consolidated the overwhelming amount of data available into a composite guide of the vital information you must have. You can pick and choose what you want to look at. For example, the online maneuvers module provides several views to help you better understand what is really going on. You'll find that the profiles are clear and easy to understand.
Organized by phase of flight, making it easy to follow when you're flying. You will find that Jeppesen Aircraft Total Training not only contains crucial information, but is organized in a way that corresponds to the phases of flight as they occur. Whether it's maneuvers or checklists, the information you need will appear as you need it. Unlike the AOM/POH, emergency procedures are exactly where that situation would happen, not in a hard-to-find chapter.
A print binder and online component are both included to give you all the information you need. Jeppesen Aircraft Total Training has a print booklet that covers maneuvers, checklists and more, comprehensively covering the information required to fly the aircraft. In addition, the online component offers clear and concise interactive presentations that cover things like maneuvers, procedures and systems. Together the print and online segments provide a thorough picture of what you need to know about your aircraft.
Complements existing training courses. If you are a student, Jeppesen Aircraft Total Training is an ideal addition to the training you are already receiving. Whether you are learning from a Jeppesen program, from another provider or at a flight school, you will find the aircraft-specific facts and instructions to be invaluable. We can also customize the maneuvers section for specific flight schools.
Can save you money on your flight training. When you use Jeppesen Aircraft Total Training, you will be more familiar with your aircraft and how it works. Now your aircraft orientation happens before you step into the cockpit, allowing your instructor to validate your understanding of the concepts learned in ground school. You will be better prepared for your flight lessons and able to cover more material as a result. Your flight lessons will have more positive impact on your actual flying skills which may mean reduced flight lesson time.
