This course addresses beginners who are not familiar with the manpower planning concepts. Experienced manpower planners with no or little knowledge of the Carmen Manpower system should begin with the course Manpower 1

Course goals
This course gives you an introduction to the Carmen Manpower Planning concepts. After completing the course, you will have a thorough understanding of:

• complete planning process
• manpower planning concepts – Leave, Training, Establishment
• manpower problem objective

• Overview of Carmen products
• The complete planning process
• Overview of Manpower Objectives and Concepts such as:
  • leave (vacation) process
  • building the training plan
  • demand/supply analysis
  • planned activities handling

• Problem types
  • Cabin crew
  • Cockpit crew

All exercises are done using generic flight data and rule sets (Carmen Airlines).
