Jeppesen has developed a proposed standard interface for high-speed communication between fatigue models and scheduling solutions. The interface is called CAPI – the Common Alertness Prediction Interface and has been shared with most leading model providers. CAPI makes it possible, should it become necessary, to switch over to another fatigue model – an important aspect when recognizing that models, and model implementations, develop over time. CAPI is licensed separately to airline operators and provides a tight integration to models in for example a legacy in-house system.
