Visitors to 2011 Boot Dusseldorf (22-30 January) will be eligible to receive a free home navigation planning tool, PC-Planner, when they sign up for a Silver Level or Gold Level membership in Club Jeppesen.  To learn more or take advantage of this offer, show attendees are directed to the Jeppesen Boot Dusseldorf exhibit in Hall 11 B-22.

A retail value of 149 Euro*, PC-Planner includes voyage-planning software on CD and a USB chart reader allowing boaters to plan all the navigational aspects of a future voyage and download 5-day weather forecasts.
Boaters can also transfer the information to a user card for use in a MAX or NT+ compatible chartplotter onboard their boat.

Navigators can load and view their familiar C-MAP by Jeppesen NT+ or MAX electronic charts, creating and editing marks and routes just as they would on their chartplotter. PC-Planner also lets boaters utilize their C-MAP
MAX charts and computer to view embedded aerial photos of inlets and harbors they plan to visit, check out detailed marina drawings, and research available services. Jeppesen’s dynamic NavAids and tide/current
prediction features are also useful in planning safe and efficient voyages.

To further enhance navigational safety, PC-Planner allows boaters to overlay weather forecasts onto their MAX and NT+ charts and get regularly updated five-day forecasts including wave direction/height, wind
direction/speed, ground temperature, humidity, and visibility in miles. With the optional Jeppesen User Memory Card, boaters can easily transfer saved navigation plans and weather data right to their boat’s onboard plotter for
on-the-water guidance.

During this promotion, navigators will receive PC-Planner at no charge when they sign up for a Silver Level or Gold Level membership in Club Jeppesen — a unique navigator’s club that provides boaters with electronic chart updates and additional benefits. Silver Level membership provides one free chart update per year, discounts on valuable products/services for navigators, a free newsletter, membership card and a toll-free member’s only customer service number.
The Gold Level membership adds the ability to get three years’ worth of updates for the price of two included in the subscription fee. Annual Club Jeppesen dues are 99 Euro for Silver Level and 199 Euro for Gold Level. The cost is less than purchasing an updated chart each year, and includes the additional benefits and discounts. Add the powerful PC-Planner navigation planning tool at no charge, and the advantages of membership are clear.
