Navigation expert Jeppesen today unveiled a new Web site dedicated to the company’s C-MAP 4D cartography. Released to coincide with the availability of C-MAP 4D on the latest Geonav Multi-Function Display units, the site – www.jeppesen.com/c-map4D - is designed for easy consumer “navigation” through the many C-MAP 4D cartography features, including 3D chart views, satellite images with 2D and 3D overlay, digital raster charts with 2D and 3D overlay, Guardian Alarm and Easy Routing technology and more.
To better serve the needs of boaters around the world, this new site will provide detailed C-MAP 4D product information in six languages (English, Spanish, Italian, German, French and Norwegian), along with the ability to register an email address for exclusive announcements regarding newly added content and value-added data.
A global coverage map makes it easy for visitors to quickly research the specific C-MAP 4D electronic chart segment and coverage they need for their boating style and geographic location. Also, the new C-MAP 4D Web site will feature product details on compatible chartplotting systems, beginning with the new line of GeoNav units, all of which are pre-loaded with worldwide C-MAP by Jeppesen reference maps
