Jeppesen Marine today announced the release of Passport Charts World Folio 39, the first Passport Charts utilizing advanced C-Map vector chart data. This new product launch also reinstates the ability for boaters to buy Passport Chart regions for any location around the world.
This launch is big news for boaters using Passport Charts in conjunction with Jeppesen Marine’s popular navigation software Nobeltec Visual Navigation Suite (VNS) and Nobeltec Admiral Versions 7.0 through 9.3. New Passport Charts with C-Map data were developed for exclusive use with these Nobeltec products. Jeppesen Marine’s reformulation of these charts using C-Map vector chart data ensures that boaters who navigate with these popular products can rely on the highest level of detail and accuracy. This new Passport product, of which the first release will be World Folio 39, contains approximately the same worldwide coverage areas and chart regions as previous World Folio releases.
These World Folio 39 Passport Charts also are available to owners of two advanced navigation systems that rely on Passport data — the Northstar 972 chart plotter and the Simrad GB60 Glass Bridge System.
World Folio 39 Passport Charts are available through all the convenient sales channels that dealers and customers have come to expect. Boaters can still purchase Passport World Folio and Passport Deluxe data products through their authorized Nobeltec dealers.
